Mission
The representative student government for all Portland Campus students across nine degree programs.

Among other duties, the student leaders of GAPSA advocate for student resources, allocate funding for Student Organizations, award four $3,000 scholarships annually, and provide assistance for students experiencing food insecurity and other emergency needs.

Additionally, GAPSA allocates Individual Grants to students pursuing professional development opportunities such as conferences, research, and experiential learning opportunities. Group Grants are also available to student organizations which design inter-professional campus programming.

GAPSA also supports the 120+ Student Organizations on campus which provide a wide array of social, cultural, and professional programming that is the backbone of campus life here at UNE.

Mission
The Portland Campus Student Food Pantry is a discreet, self-serve resource for students struggling with food insecurity. The Pantry demonstrates our campus community’s commitment to supporting student success by alleviating the barriers associated with food insecurity.

The Pantry is currently offering free non-perishable food items, personal care products, and limited refrigerated items such as dairy and produce when available.

The Pantry is available to all campus-based UNE Graduate and Professional Students and no application or income verification is required. A current UNE ID card is needed to access the Pantry.

The Portland Campus Student Food Pantry is a student-led initiative supported by the Graduate and Professional Student Association and the Office of Graduate and Professional Student Life. For more info: pcstudentlife@une.edu
